Performing
Teresa Kali has worked internationally as a singer and performing artist for over 30 years. Singing has taken her to many different places, such as Morocco, California, the United Arab Emirates and the Balkans. She has worked as a lead and background singer in many different contexts and with many different artists, such as Victoria Tolstoy, Sarah Dawn Finer and Emrik from Stonefunkers, all known Swedish artist. She has also shared the stage with Bobby McFerrin and Lisa Fischer.
As she also has extensive experience as a hired studio singer, including for the well known Swedish producer duo Rob n' Raz, there is a good chance that you have heard her voice on several recordings.
Teresa is also involved in the singing project "Rezá Azul" together with the American singer Raz Kennedy (from Bobby McFerrin's Voicestra). "Rezá Azul" presents the singing voice as a ritualistic tool, creating a safe place of community and an atmosphere of belonging for those who participate in their various spirit evoking performances, as well as their workshops on the theme of "Healing through the Voice". Together they have held their workshop "Vocal Deep Dive" in both the USA, England and Germany so far.
Apparently Nothing
In 2017 Teresa went to her long time friends of Neoholics, a Swedish neo soul group, with the idea of making a neo soul / funk version of the track “Apparently Nothing”, originally recorded by Young Disciples in 1991. This version was noticed by Scandinavian Soul, who write about hip and up and coming music acts in Scandinavia. Read the article here:

His eye is on the sparrow
The famous Swedish soul diva Laila Adèle (who is now featured in the Swedish musical version of “Dreamgirls”) and Teresa Kali have sung together for many years. When Laila Adéle reached out to Teresa with a suggestion of a collaboration with her and also with the gospel choir Released that Teresa is a part of, it was the start of a series of amazing and successful collaborations between them. This duet between Laila and Teresa was a part of the first Christmas show they did together in 2018.
